Ta’ Rita Lapsi View Bar & Restaurant goes a long way back to the times of Rita’s grandfather, who was the original owner of this 3rd generation family business. Opening his business as a bar in the 1930s, Frenc Azzopardi used to cook fresh rabbits for the Royal English marines. Eventually, in 1966 he extended the bar into a restaurant 3 months after he passed away and his daughter Rita took over. Eventually her niece Marika took over the restaurant in 2000 and continued to expand the restaurant, including a Pizzeria as well.
Offering authentic traditional cuisine, Ta’ Rita Lapsi View, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a vast selection of wines to choose from. Whatever the time of day, diners will be doing it in style with an exceptional view of Ghar Laspi & Filfla in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, something the restaurant prides itself in.
The restaurant caters for everyone, be it tourists or local Maltese patrons. With seating for over 140 people, Ta’ Rita Lapsi View can hold groups booking, parties and coffee mornings. Ghar Lapsi would not be the same without Ta’ Rita’s.
